Halley White, D.D.S., M.P.H.

Ashley Coppedge, CDA, Dental Assistant
Ashley graduated from the dental assisting program at Cape Fear Community College in 2007.  She began working with Dr. Halley one month after the practice opened and has enjoyed watching it grow.  She takes pride in her work and looks forward to working with families in the community to create healthy dental smiles.

Jessica Zambrano, CDA
Jessica joined the Team in May 2010 bringing with her an always cheerful attitude and a willingness to educate. She completed her dental assisting degree at CFCC in 2006 and has worked with children ever since.  Jessica is fluent in Spanish and has been a wonderful asset to the practice in this capacity.  Children love her fun and friendly manner and her constant smile.

Afton Sikes, RDH
Afton is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill in Dental Hygiene.  She has worked with children for many years and knew she wanted to enter the field of pediatric dentistry after graduating.  Afton is new to the Wilmington area and is enjoying working closely with Dr. Halley.  She loves educating both children and parents on the benefits or proper oral health and seeing the results this information brings. 

Anna Davis, DA II
Anna attended Cape Fear Community College studying Dental Assisting.  She worked in both prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry before finding her home in pediatrics.  Anna joined the Growing Grins team in January 2011 and enjoys the opportunity to educate both parents and children and especially likes visiting schools and day cares to present oral health lessons to children. 

Kacie Bannish, Sterilization Tech
Kacie is currently working with the team as our sterilization tech and is doing a wonderful job of facilitating a smooth flow in the back.  A native of Michigan Kacie and her husband moved to North Carolina in January 2010 and is working towards entering the Dental Hygiene program at CFCC.  She is enjoying working in the dental field and gaining hands on experience in her field of interest.      

Pam Lewis, Scheduling Coordinator
Pam has over twenty year’s dental office experience and holds a certificate in Dental Office Management.  She began working in the dental field in high school and can assist you in many areas including: appointments, insurance, referrals, and general information.

Colleen Warren, Assistant Scheduling Coordinator and Check-Out  Joining the team in April 2011, Colleen has over 20 years dental experience.  She graduated with a dental assisting certificate from Berdan Institute of Technology in technology and spent 10 years working as a clinical assistant.  She has spent the last 10 years working on the administrative side of dentistry and has worked in general offices as well as oral surgery.  She loves being a part of a pediatric practice and being able to have direct contact with the children and families at check-out.

Angela Moore, Treatment Coordinator
Angela joined the team in August 2011 after working in the medical field for five years and serving as an office manager for seven. She brings organization and knowledge to our office and her versatility is beneficial in encompassing a helpful and friendly work environment. She enjoys working with patients and their families to ensure the best possible treatment is arranged as well as scheduling them so the days run steady and smooth.

Jenny Spivey, Public Relations Coordinator
Jenny graduated from UNCW in May 2011 where she majored in Communication Studies/Public Relations and English Professional Writing. She joined the Growing Grins team in August 2011 and enjoys planning events, conducting contests, and being as involved in the community as possible through her work with Dr. Halley. Her background in PR, as well as her love for children and ability to relate with “what’s cool” makes her enthusiastic and fun on a daily basis.

Teresa Wicker, Office Manager & Financial Coordinator
Teresa joined the team full time in June 2010 and has been a welcome source of organization and knowledge.  Having worked in dentistry for over 33 years, Teresa acts as both Office Manager and Financial Coordinator for the team.  She holds a dental assisting degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and spent 15 years working as an assistant before moving into management.
